16 Nov 2017

On Sunday the 12th November,2017 38 Cadets and three Staff took part in the annual Remembrance Day Parade and Service in Southam. The Cadets marched from the forming up point to St James Church in the Town on what was a very cold morning.

During the Service the OC Flt Lt Moreton, joined with Councilor Bob Stevens to read the names of the fallen. Cadet Patrick Fitzgerald laid a wreath on behalf of the Squadron and several Cadets read verses from the Reconciliation.

After the Service our Air Cadets formed a guard of honour outside the Church as the congregation left before forming up for their final dismissal.

Flt Lt Moreton remarked, 'This has been the largest turnout of Cadets for many years and is a credit to the dedication of new and old Cadets to the Town and Squadron on such an important day for our Country. I am very proud of every one of them and I know the Town is aswell.'
